The High Commission of United Republic of Tanzania has the obligation to strengthen and expand bilateral relations and cooperation between the Government and the people of the United Republic of Tanzania and Republic of Kenya, accredited countries of Eritrea, Seychelles, Somalia, South Sudan and multinational organizations specifically UNEP and UN-HABITAT.
Through the Mission’s Website we strive to provide valuable information about Tanzania on Trade and Investment opportunities, Tourism, Culture, Diaspora and Consular Affairs, such as issuance of visas, issuance and renewal of passports, authentication/certification of documents, travel, tax incentives, news worthy issues.
Tanzania’s Foreign Policy focuses, amongst others, on promoting Economic Diplomacy, and therefore the country is open for business and continues to provide investment opportunities with assured conducive environment. The same applies at the regional under the East African Community (EAC); Continental Level under the African Union (AU) and multilateral level under the United Nations (UN) and other Multilateral Bodies.
This website has been particularly designed to create linkage between the High Commission and our clients / stakeholders for obtaining useful information about the United Republic of Tanzania and our activities in general.
